Almost two months have passed since Niku to Pan to Bar, a bar/restaurant that focuses on hamburgers and sandwiches during the day and international cuisine at night, opened in Ogawacho, Kagoshima City.

The business opened on November 29. It is the third franchise store, following the main store, Niku to Pan, in Shimoarata, and the second in Minamisatsuma, and it is also the first store with space for dining in. The new outlet covers an area of 40 square meters and has two tables and eight seats at the counter. As Sachiko Okumura, the store manager, used to run an izakaya — a Japanese-style bar — serving international cuisine, it turns into a bar serving snacks, pasta, and drinks after 5 p.m.

The lunch menu includes the chain’s signature White-Bun Kuroge Wagyu Hamburgers with Terimayo Sauce (600 yen) and Demi-Cheese (800 yen), as well as the Ogawacho store’s exclusive Kurobuta Tonkatsu Sandwich (600 yen) and Yakiniku Koppe Sandwich (550 yen). At night, the bar menu offers over 20 types of dishes, including seasonal oven-baked dishes, pasta, and steamed seafood with white wine.

Pizza takeout is also available, such as Margherita and Pollock Roe with Mayonaise (from 1,080 yen). In January, it started offering breakfast, featuring Egg Sandwich or Yakiniku Sandwich with coffee (500 yen) and French Toast or Tonkatsu Sandwich with coffee (700 yen).

Opening hours:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Burgers: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Bar: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (from 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
Subject to change at the request of the national and prefectural governments.
