On March 10, Honke Torisaku, a karaage fried chicken specialty restaurant in Ogawacho, Kagoshima City, reopened at a new location near the Suizokukanguchi stop of Kagoshima City Tram.

The restaurant was previously located on the east side of the Sendo Ichiba Kitafuto branch. The new place is close to the tram stop, making it more accessible to the tram line users. It also redesigned the signboard to make the name easier to read.

The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years in Kagoshima. It prepares its karaage with young chicken meat, often bone-in, and thin batter. The seasoning is simple, but they are particular about the quality of the oil.

The lineup includes Bara prepared with chicken wings, ribs, and other parts; Momo with thighs; Hane with breast meat; 3-pieceTebasaki with wings; and Nankotsu with knee cartilage (600 yen for each item). The restaurant also offers a 3-type Platter (1,800 yen) of ribs, thighs, and wings; Aburi Sashi, seared thigh and breast meat sashimi; and french fries (400 yen).

Opening hours: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays. Delivery is available within a 3-kilometer radius for orders of 1,500 yen or more. Delivery costs are charged separately.
