Western-style restaurant Sanwa Shokudo opens in Tagami, Kagoshima

One month has passed since the Western-style restaurant Sanwa Shokudo opened in Tagami, Kagoshima City.

It opened its doors on June 4. Minami Kyusyu Sanwa, dealing with office equipment sales and rentals, manages the restaurant, and it is their first foray into the restaurant business. Keisuke Maeda, with ten years of experience as a chef at a hotel in Kagoshima, is the chef and the manager. In addition to 20 table seats and five counter seats, the restaurant has a private room for 4 to 5 people. There are also sofa seats for customers with children.

The lunch set menu includes Premium Hamburger Steak (1,200 yen) with homemade demi-glace sauce; Fluffy Omurice with Yabusame Eggs (1,100 yen) with demi-glace sauce of beef tendon; and Nostalgic Teppan Neapolitan Spaghetti (900 yen). An appetizer platter with assorted vegetables and meat (550 yen) can be added to the set.

For dinner, Karaage Chicken, Chicken Nanban with Homemade Tartar, Today’s Salad, and other items are available a la carte.

Opening hours: 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (until 3:00 p.m. on Sundays). Closed on Mondays and holidays.
