Craft Beer Festival in Kagoshima, bringing together breweries from Southern Kyushu
The previous Craft Beer Shower
A craft beer festival, “Craft Beer Shower,” will take place on October 8 and 9 at the rooftop garden, Soraniwa, on the 7th floor of Maruya Gardens.
The event will return for the first time in three years. “The craft beer market in Southern Kyushu is growing every year,” said Tatsuhiko Wakamatsu, president of Dolphin Industry. Wakamatsu and his team have been leading the event since 2018 to provide a place for people to discover craft beer, which now comes in a wide variety of flavors and well-designed bottles.
Breweries, beer bars, and beer retailers from Kagoshima, Miyazaki, and Kumamoto will gather at the venue to offer beer and snacks. In addition to Dolphin Industry, Stock Yard, Shiroyama Brewery, Re:Ale, Kakuida Brewery, Ash Head Brewery, Whack A Mole, and Honey Forest Brewing from Kagoshima will be present at the event. B.M.B Brewery from Miyazaki, Amakusa Sonar Beer and Witch Craft Market from Kumamoto, and BrewDog from Tokyo will also have a booth.
Wakamatsu said: “Each of us has prepared unique craft beers. We hope visitors taste and compare them from different vendors while enjoying the pleasant breeze under the blue autumn sky.”
The event will be open from noon to 8:00 p.m. The event may be canceled due to severe weather or other factors.
