BBQ restaurant opens in Tenmonkan, Kagoshima, featuring terrace for parties

A barbecue restaurant, LANAI BBQ Terrace (Phone: 099-295-0678), opened on October 1 on the 8th floor of a building facing Takamibaba Street in Tenmonkan, Kagoshima City.
Equipped with a 150-inch monitor and DJ booth, the restaurant opened as a barbecue terrace that can accommodate post-wedding parties and other types of gatherings. The name “Lanai” means “veranda” in Hawaiian. It has 32 seats, mainly four-person tables, and can accommodate up to 60 people, including standing guests.
Only the barbecue course requires reservations. The Hawaiian BBQ All-You-Can-Drink Course includes Hawaiian steak and garlic shrimp, and the Mexican BBQ All-You-Can-Drink Course includes Mexican-style beef skirt steak “Arachera” and tortillas (5,390 yen). It also offers the KAGOSHIMA BBQ Course (7,590 yen), which comes with Japanese black beef, Kurobuta pork, and Sakurajima or Akadori chicken, and the Premium Course (18,990 yen), which includes a tomahawk steak in the KAGOSHIMA BBQ Course. “The barbecue can be either grilled by yourself or by asking the staff to grill it for you,” the restaurant says.
The restaurant also offers a la carte dishes such as Loco Moco and hamburgers made with Japanese black beef, as well as course meals (from 2,860 yen) that include Cheese Dakgalbi, Tteokbokki, Korean-style salad, and other dishes.
Opening hours: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Sundays by reservation only. On Sundays, the restaurant accepts reservations only. On Saturday nights, the bar is open from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. with a DJ.
