HALU in Tokaicho, Kagoshima, revamped, DIY hut also on display
Inside HALU REFORM
November 21 will mark two months since the relaunch of HALU REFORM, a remodeling specialist in Tokaicho, Kagoshima City, which was formerly known as HALU POLDER Terrace.
The concept of the new store is “Garden Living” and promotes “creating a space centered around a garden where you can relax with family and friends.” Inside the store, visitors can see a completed Re-mo-CABIN (880,000 yen), a build-it-yourself hut. It is sold as a kit and measures approximately 8.03 square meters. The store offers over 60 color samples for painting. Although the huts are for self-assembly, the store can arrange installation staff upon request.
Shin Yoshimura, store manager, says, “We offer customers the opportunity to create their own unique, one-of-a-kind hut. We encourage people to come to the store and experience it by sitting in the hut and relaxing on the chair.”
The store carries barbecue sets, oil lanterns, water bottles, shoes, and other related gear, as well as a selection of clothing, mainly for women. It also serves as a consultation desk for home remodeling, wood deck construction, and renewable energy (solar, storage batteries, V2H, etc.). It will also provide simulations of solar and storage battery installations.
Opening hours: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Closed on Tuesdays.
