On December 15, Hen-na Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan opened along Takamibaba Street in Tenmonkan, Kagoshima City.

The Hen-na Hotel, meaning “Weird Hotel,” chain features advanced technology. The top floor has a large public bath, the first such facility in the chain. A sauna is also available for male guests only. The first-floor restaurant is under construction, scheduled to open on March 1 next year. The second floor houses a reading space with approximately 1,800 manga comic books, which guests can freely enjoy while staying at the hotel.
The hotel has 90 guest rooms, with rates per room per night starting at 6,000 yen for a standard double room, 6,750 yen for a deluxe double room, and 7,500 yen for a twin room.
