Zakka store Cache: Cache in Kagoshima relocates, offering apparel, bags, tableware, and more
Interior of Zakkaya Cache: Cache
Zakkaya Cache: Cache located in Taniyama Chuo, Kagoshima, relocated from the second floor and reopened on the ground floor on July 1.
The owner is Ai Kayama, an accessory artist. Previously, it operated for five years in the innermost space on the second floor but has now moved to the ground floor of the same building. The floor area is approximately 23 square meters. The name “cache cache” means “hide-and-seek” in French, representing the desire to continue quietly.
Inside the store, customers can find a selection of jewelry and accessories, clothing, bags, stationery, tableware, garden ornaments, and other items personally curated by Kayama. Special attention is given to apparel items, with Kayama selecting her favorite products according to the season. Currently, the store offers summer blouses and skirts. It also has wall-mounted floral wreaths made by a local artist, which are recommended as gifts.
With the relocation to the ground floor, Kayama mentioned that it has become easier for people to notice the shop. Kayama has increased the operating days from twice a week to four times. “I hope customers will find the store more convenient,” she added.
Opening hours: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
