On October 2, Kadokawa Dwango Gakuen N High School and S High School will hold an orientation for its Kagoshima Campus, scheduled to open in April 2022, at the Tenmonkan Vision Hall, Kagoshima City.

KADOKAWA, a publishing company, and Dwango, an IT company that operates Nico Nico Douga, established the educational institution. N High School and S High School are online high schools that utilize the Internet and the distance learning high school system, currently having 20,441 students enrolled.

In addition to the online course, the school offers an in-person course where students attend school at one of the 19 campuses across the country. In this, pupils study basic subjects and acquire comprehensive skills through project-based learning, group discussions, programming, and languages on campus.

The Kagoshima campus is one of the 14 campuses to be newly established next April, and will be located a one-minute walk from Takamibaba Stop on the Kagoshima City Tram. The school is to announce details after October. It will have a capacity of 70 students. The Fukuoka Campus (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City) has been the only one in the Kyushu area, but the two new campuses will open in Kagoshima and Kitakyushu shortly.

Besides the compulsory subjects for high school diploma, the school will also offer extracurricular classes such as preparation for university entrance exams, programming, novels, games, fashion, cooking, beauty, as well as work experience in various parts of Japan.

The orientation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. The school is currently accepting applications through its website and by phone.
