Korean restaurant SOAr opens in Kagoshima – Offering colorful Korean birthday cake

Two months have passed since the Kagoshima branch of the Korean restaurant chain SOAr opened on the first basement floor of a building at the Nakamachi Core Mall in Tenmonkan.
It opened on July 15. RAIDENTS JAPAN, a company that runs franchise businesses for Korean-style macaroons, Taiwanese food, and donuts, manages the restaurant. SOAr has six restaurants nationwide, and this fifth restaurant is the first in Kagoshima Prefecture. “We offer lunch in a relaxed atmosphere and dinner with beautiful dishes,” said the manager. It has 24 table seats.
The lunch menu includes Cheesy Kimchi Fried Rice (1,650 yen), Korean Stew Sundubu (1,551 yen), Bibimbap in a hot stone pot (1,672 yen), Cheese Kimbap (1,672 yen), and Yukhoe Rice Bowl (1,914 yen).
It also serves Shrimp Roll Samgyeopsal (1,780 yen), Cheese Dakgalbi (1,780 yen), Bibimbap (1,150 yen), Cold Noodles (1,080 yen), Kimbap (1,100 yen), Cheese Tteokbokki (1,180 yen), Seafood Pancakes (1,180 yen), Yangnyeom Chicken (1,080 yen), and Choregi Salad (1,080 yen).
In September, the restaurant started serving Saeng-il Cake, which is known as a Korean birthday cake. The cake is priced between 3,780 and 4,580 yen and can be customized with a message on the top. Seven different designs are available (reservation required).
