The Good Good Life! Studio

On February 18, a photo studio Good Good Life! Studio (Phone: 099-204-9108) opened near JR Taniyama Station, Kagoshima City.

Hiroo Shimo, a photographer who has worked on corporate promotional photographs and other projects, opened the studio. In addition to portraits and family shots, the studio offers on-site shooting for stores and companies. It has a floor space of approximately 33 square meters.

The studio also offers a “self-photography” system where customers can use a remote control to release the shutter. The fee is 3,500 yen per 15-minute session (up to 3 people; additional 1,000 yen per person after the fourth person). Customers can take 50 to 150 photos, and they will be available as photo data. Shimo recommends making reservations.

Photographers are available for photo shoots by reservation (prices negotiable). The studio also offers costume rentals and can be used for exhibitions and other events. Around the time of the opening last month, the Yusunoki Collection, which produces dresses made from uchikake kimono, held an event to showcase their dresses. At the event, visitors enjoyed trying on dresses and having their pictures taken.

Opening hours: noon – 5:00 p.m. Holidays are announced on their Instagram.
